Ocala Karate & Fitness Classes and Lessons for Cardio

We just finished up another week here at Ocala Karate & Fitness and want to congratulate our 8 NEW MEMBERS that joined our program this last week.  Our goal with this class is to have all of our members seeing positive results for their hard work in the shortest amount of time possible.  And at the rate these men and women are going that’s not going to be a problem at all.  Our newest members range in age from 15 to 53, and have hit this class wide open.  www.ocalashinbukan.com

  Some are doing it to finally get back in shape so they feel better about themselves and to lose some weight, while some are in the off season from soccer and wish to stay fit and in shape, and possibly even have an edge over everyone else when the season starts back up.  The drills and exercises in this class are beneficial not only to over all health, but also build: coordination, flexibility, balance, muscle tone and explosiveness, and last but not least, over better CARDIO FITNESS.

  Our lessons are Tuesday and Thursday nights at 6:00 and Mon Wed Fri mornings at 9:30.  Both instructors,Robby and Jaime Bray, are licensed and Certified Fighting Fit instructors, so you know you will be getting some of the best exercise drills available.   Rotating theses drills is a huge factor in any program, and Ocala karate & fitness rotates these drills out with NEW FRESH drills every 3-4 weeks so the workout never gets boring. 

  Ocala Karate & Fitness is constantly elevating our level of customer service too, because we know better than anyone that by bringing YOU the best workout possible is what makes us different from everyone else.  This is what helps make us the “BEST” Martial Arts school in Ocala. 

   Ocala is growing every year, and as it does, an unfortunate side effect is the fact that crime will continue to grow as well.  And having realized this, Ocala Karate & Fitness offers our Street Self Defense Class right after the Cardio Kickboxing class.  Many of our members have already taken advantage of this by joining the class and rolling from Cardio right into this fast paced “REALITY” based Self Defense Class.

Ocala Karate & Fitness Kicks off Youth Class

     Well tonight was the official start of Ocala Karate & Fitness’s Youth Karate Class.  This class has been designed specifically for young Karate students between the ages of 11 and 14 years of age. 

     I would like to tell everyone JUST HOW WELL THEY ALL DID !  Everyone ramped up and made this class awesome.  Between the more advanced techniques that were covered, and the extra time spent on their stances and body weight transitioning, the guys and gals are really going to be good.

     The primary focus in this new class is: 1.  To continue moving forward with harder more complex drills focusing on their balance.  2.  To ramp up the pace of the class creating much more of  a cardio workout.  This helps them to stay fitter during their teenage years when they are growing.  3.  Introduce them to more Self Defense type drills and applications building their confidence and awareness.  4.  Developing more CORE strength, which is such an important part to everyone, but seems to slip to the way side in most sports today.  5.  And most importantly, to help them all transform into HEALTHY, more AGILE, and FIT adults.

     Also I would like to mention that anyone interested in our morning Cardio Kickboxing/Circuit Fitness class, you really need to call now and reserve a spot.  With 12 people now attending, the available spots are filling up for this AWSOME, fast paced, Calorie Smoking class.  New drills will be coming in on Friday too as we rotate a new set of exercises in, so everyone rest up over the next day and get ready !
